At Trueman Vineyards and Winery, we take great pride in being a family-owned and operated business. We work hard to bring our passion for winemaking and entertaining to life while also instilling in our two sets of twin boys an appreciation for the outdoors and the value of hard work on the farm.
 

Joel heads up both the vineyard and winery operations, applying a distinctive approach to grape growing and winemaking. With a degree in landscape architecture from NC State, he brings his expertise in design and horticulture to not only produce exceptional grapes but also to create outdoor spaces that are as welcoming as they are beautiful. Joel is passionate about the creativity and freedom that comes along with this endeavor, and he channels this enthusiasm into crafting wines of exceptional quality, as well as designing outdoor environments that captivate and delight our guests.

Amanda, Joel's wife, is equally dedicated to the business. She has a PhD in statistics from NC State and manages the business side of Trueman Vineyards and Winery. She is also a dedicated federal civil servant, bringing her experience and skills to both her professional and personal endeavors.

Together, our family is committed to creating a unique and unforgettable experience for our guests.
